Lyn Smasal

Director of Sales


Lyn has over 18 years of experience working with seniors and their families and has loved every second of it! In the workplace, her passion is learning about seniors and their loved ones and guiding them through the uncharted new journey of senior living. Outside of work, her passion is spending time with those close to her and enjoying the warm Minnesota summers from her cabin. Lyn is a compassionate and knowledgeable resource and is excited to play her part in welcoming new residents to the Hayden Grove community.

Christine Nye

Christine Nye brings deep dedication and experience to her role as Executive Director at Hayden Grove Bloomington. Christine’s journey began at just eight years old when she started volunteering, igniting a lifelong commitment to serving the senior community. Over the past 30 years, she has built a distinguished career across various facets of senior care, including Skilled Nursing, Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Geriatric Mental Health. Christine’s dedication is matched by her family’s shared commitment, as each family member also works within the senior healthcare sector. She has been married for 31 years and is a proud mother of three. Christine’s passion shines through in her daily work, where she strives to create meaningful, positive moments for those she serves.

Michelle Quiggle

Director of Nursing

With over 25 years in healthcare and a strong foundation of service in the United States Air Force, Michelle brings dedication, compassion, and expertise to our team. She served honorably from 1996-1997 and later worked as a pharmacy technician at Walgreens for more than two decades while pursuing her dream of becoming a Registered Nurse. In February 2021, she achieved her RN license, and by 2022, she had completed her bachelor's degree and Public Health Nurse certification at Minnesota State University Mankato. Michelle is now working toward her master's degree in Nurse Education, driven by a passion for learning and teaching. Michelle enjoys the outdoors and values family time, especially supporting her three adult children in their pursuits. Her warm, caring nature and commitment to serving others have made her an invaluable part of our team and community.

Ameilia Curtiss

Regional Sales Specialist

Ameilia has dedicated her career to enriching the lives of seniors for over 19 years. Starting at 16 in the dining room of an Assisted Living community, she has since held diverse roles, including Executive Director for two senior living communities. Ameilia earned her Healthcare Administration degree with an emphasis in Long-Term Care and Marketing from Minnesota State University, Moorhead, and a Leadership Certificate from the University of Minnesota in 2024. Residing in St. Paul’s Como area, she enjoys reading, cooking, staying active, and attending live music. Ameilia’s passion lies in building trust with seniors and their families, supporting housing transitions, and staying attuned to the evolving needs of older adults.
