I would like to introduce Angi Weicherding (Why-ker-ding). Hayden Grove Blommington’s new Life Enrichment Director.
Angi has been in senior care for 13 plus years. Angi began her career as an CNA and worked part-time during the Pandemic. During that time Angi was approached to assist with activities and discovered her passion working with seniors in this manner. Angi shares “It was fun and enriching to bring

to start a new career path and attended Ridgewater College for MEPAP 1 & 2 Activity Director Courses and became certified. Angi is recognized on The National Board for Activity Director Certified (NCCAP). Most recently she became certified as a Dementia Practitioner Certified and recognized on the NCCDP National Board of Dementia Practitioners. To be a part of another’s care and special interests is very fulfilling and rewarding for me and she feels truely blessed and grateful everyday to serve seniors. A little about Angi outside of work…she has been married to her husband Dan going on 23 years and together have two kids, DJ and Addy. They will be 18 & 20 this Summer. Angi lives In Hudson, WI. On the weekends the family enjoys going to the cabin in Grantsburg, WI. Seasonally she has a cherry tree in her backyard that she harvest and Can the cherries into preserves and makes homemade cream cheese cherry danishes. “It’s a lot of work, but she really enjoy the process and “Fruits” of her labor! “😉
Spring through fall Angi enjoy outdoor walks with Dan and spending time with her kids,
family and extended family. When time allows, she love to just sit down and relax!

What a delightful St. Patrick's Day we had with our wonderful residents! Everyone gathered for live entertainment, drinks and snacks.
The day was filled with laughter, stories, and Irish-inspired treats that brought smiles to everyone's faces. It was heartwarming to see our community come together, sharing memories and creating new ones.
These special celebrations remind us of what truly matters - the joy of togetherness and the meaningful connections we build each day. The spirit of St. Patrick's Day brought out the best in all of us!

The energy was electric at Hayden Grove yesterday as our residents and staff came together for an unforgettable Super Bowl watch party! 🏈
The highlight wasn't just the game - it was seeing our residents cheering, sharing stories of Super Bowls past, and enjoying each other's company. From the pre-game predictions to the halftime show singalongs, every moment was filled with smiles and laughter.
